Features: XMLBlueprint XML Editor is a XML editor as the name suggests. It supports creation and editing of any XML document. It has features that help create well formed and validated document quite quickly. For example syntax coloring helps check syntax elements very quickly. XML documents, HTML, CSS and JS files can be checked this way. You can customize the colors to your preferences. Formatting can be automatic. Hitting the format button indents the element tags. Indentation preferences can be set up. The editor helps quicker completion. If you have associated your document with a DTD, Relax NG Schema, or XML Schema, XMLBlueprint will suggest a list of permissible components based on your current location in the document are automatically suggested via drop down menu. The closing bracket is automatically set, as well as any required attributes or child elements. XML Completion Preferences dialog helps you set the preferences.
At any time during the editing process validation is a one click process. XMLBlueprint reports the errors and clicking on the error message takes you to the code location where it has occurred. You can validate against a DTD, Relax NG Schema, or XML Schema. XSLT transformation and Xpath expressions are handled. Users can collaboratively edit and manage files on remote Web servers via FTP, HTTP, HTTPS (secure HTTP) and WebDAV. The built-in directory tree helps the user to quickly locate and open files. MacOS, UNIX and Windows file formats are automatically recognized. It supports Unicode on all these platforms, which means you can edit and validate XML documents in almost any language of the Asian and Eastern European regions. This is an Windows application.
Overall: Quite a powerful editor for XML development work. Fairly easy to use.
